Tour Option 1: Circular Bioeconomy in Motion
The Circular Bioeconomy in Motion tour will take delegates through the Sinclar Group facilities at Nechako Lumber in Vanderhoof, one hour west of Prince George. Delegates will see a closed loop milling system including a sawmill, planer mill, pellet plant and energy system.
Tour Option 2: Bioeconomy Street
The Bioeconomy Street tour will be a walking tour of historic George Street in downtown Prince George to examine the cluster of bioeconomic activities including the City’s biomass-fueled district energy system, the Wood Innovation Design Centre and the University of Northern BC’s Wood Innovation Research Lab.
