Date & Time
Thursday, June 11, 2020, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Description

Governments at all levels are an integral part of the bioeconomy, both as investors in and beneficiaries of the industry. At a local level, municipal and First Nations governments can leverage the bioeconomy for economic and environmental gain while building local energy security. The bioeconomy also plays a role helping provincial and federal governments meet job creation, economic development and climate change mitigation goals. This session will pull the various components of government and First Nations participation together to provide an integrated model for the bioeconomy.
